Although officially registered in 2005, its roots trace back to 1991 when it began its journey in the cocoa and coffee business under the esteemed umbrella of its parent company, Fawaz Building Materials. Over the decades, Randlyn Holdings has cultivated a robust reputation for excellence, integrity, and sustainability within the agricultural industry.
Randlyn Holdings began its venture in cocoa and coffee production in 1991. Initially operating under Fawaz Building Materials, the company steadily expanded its operations and influence. By 2005, Randlyn Holdings had officially established itself as a key player in Sierra Leone’s agricultural landscape.

Randlyn Holdings actively promotes sustainable agriculture practices. Notably, we have been involved in promoting traceable cocoa in Sierra Leone, aiming to provide consumers with high-quality chocolate made from locally sourced cocoa. Additionally, the company collaborates with partners to promote sustainable natural resource management through initiatives such as climate-smart cocoa agroforestry and value addition through crop certification schemes like Organic, Fairtrade, and Rain Forest Alliance.

CERTIFICATIONS
Certifications Undertaken by Randlyn Holdings:
UTZ
A Dutch certification meaning "good inside." From 2014 to 2016, 2000 farmers were certified under this scheme.
ORGANIC
Since 2011, Randlyn Holdings Limited has maintained organic certification for both cocoa and coffee farmers, with a total of 8000 farmers.
Fairtrade
Obtained in 2022, certified cocoa is sourced from two cooperatives: Koeyordondorya Farmers’ Cooperative and Heowolacheo Farmers’ Cooperative, located in Kono and Kailahun districts, respectively.
Rain Forest Alliance
The company aims to secure RA certification for 2000 producers and is awaiting an external audit in September 2024.

Randlyn Holdings ventured into certifications in 2014 with 2000 startup-registered farmers. This initiative was created to help cocoa and coffee farmers produce quality and standard products, enabling them to receive fair prices and premiums. The premium money is the benefit the farmers receive after selling their certified products to us. Randlyn Holdings has its Internal Management System (IMS) office at 46 Kailahun Road-Buedu, with 32 directly employed staff and over 100 casual workers.

Wealth Hunger (WHH)
From 2014 to 2017, Randlyn Holdings partnered with WHH to implement the Agricultural for Development (A4D) project, benefiting 2000 cocoa farmers through seedlings, polythene bags, pruning, and saws.
SOLIDARIDAD WEST AFRICA
Partnered from 2019 to 2020 to implement the Cocoa Rehabilitation and Intensification Program (CORIP), directly benefiting over 2000 farmers and more than 10,000 indirect beneficiaries.
